GREAT PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS!!!!! <\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Star Auditions are Taking Place on Sunday, September 12th\u00a0for High School Musicians who play Bass, Tuba and Trumpet (Must be COVID-19 fully vaccinated, or scheduled to be COVID-19 fully vaccinated).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE AUDITION MUSIC AND RECORDING HAVE BEEN POSTED AT: <\/strong><\/em>http:\/\/bandresourcesunlimited.com\/downloads\/<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEN WILL AUDITIONS TAKE PLACE? <\/strong>Sunday, September 12th (3:45-6:30pm), at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial).<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED? <\/strong>Some jazz experience is preferred, but not necessary.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MONTHLY CLINICIANS: <\/strong>Professional jazz musicians do clinics from time to time.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

REHEARSALS: <\/strong>Weekly rehearsals take place at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial), from 3:45 until 6:30pm, each Sunday.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PERFORMANCE GIGS? <\/strong>We feature our band during each monthly Denver Jazz Club session, professional jazz festivals, and performance gigs throughout the area. Past performances have included concert tours to New York City, and international jazz festivals at Montreux, Switzerland; Umbria, Italy; and Kongsberg, Norway.<\/strong><\/em> The Youth All-Stars will be performing on a summer 2022 European concert tour.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SCHOOL CONFLICTS? <\/strong>No performances or rehearsals conflict with school activities.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

COST: <\/strong>Each selected student will be required to become a member of the Denver Jazz Club ($10 yearly fee). The monthly dues (4 weekly sessions) run $165, and are payable at the start of each 4 week period.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WILL PAID GIGS REDUCE FUTURE TRIP COSTS? <\/strong>Any money the band is paid will go toward future trip expenses.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
