Jazz Cookers to Perform on Sunday, July 17th
On Sunday, July 17th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! It’s the exciting sounds of the Jazz Cookers. Band members include: Colton Crandell, Trumpet; Wes Leffingwell, Piano; Dave Ellis, Trombone; Jeff Henton, Tuba; Kevin Matthews, Drums; Madison Munn, Clarinet; and Rick Crandell, Cornet/Manager. The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will also perform from 3:45 until 4:15 pm. Both bands will then play a few songs together. See you on July 17th!!

Vern Baumer’s Mile High Jazz Gathering on Sunday, June 19th
On Sunday, June 19th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! It’s the exciting, traditional sounds of clarinetist Vern Baumer’s Mile High Jazz Gathering. Vern has been active on the Denver jazz scene since 1970, when he formed the New Orleans Jazz Gathering. The band will include John Bartman, trumpet; Ed Stephen, guitar; Bill Blackman, bass; and Bill Watkins, drums. There will be a possible special guest as well!
