EMAs of April 1st, the King Soopers Gift cards will no longer be the way for the Denver Jazz Club to receive profits. The gift cards can still be used to use up your available balances, but you now simply need to enroll in the rewards program, using the link below. The beauty of this change will be the fact that you can now use your own credit card or cash at the check-out counter. As long as you also swipe your rewards card, or enter your registered phone number, before paying, we will be credited the 5% profit. If you don’t as of yet have a King Soopers or City Market rewards card, please realize that they are available for free at the customer service desk at any King Soopers or City Market. That means you can also earn points on your personal credit card, while helping our organization profit from your purchases!

Be sure to attend the Sunday, March 17th Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 1:00 until 5:00pm! The Crystal Swing Band will be the featured performance group. They play music of the big band era: Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Harry James and others. Current band members include Kristin Anderson-Bohan, drums, leader; Jenny Schulte, bass; Eric Leonard, piano; Chaz Bowles, trumpet/vocals; Rex Spease, alto sax; and Eric McGregor, tenor sax.
They are fantastic, so don’t miss it! There will also be a performance by the UC Denver Claim Jumpers from 1-2pm.
There is info on the March 17th performance of The Crystal Swing Band and the April 14th Annual Ron Cope Rent Party Fundraiser, with the Hot Tomatoes, DJC Youth All-Stars and UCD Claimjumpers. Because of Easter Sunday, our club date will be the second Sunday in April.
