GREAT PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY FOR A HIGH SCHOOL TRUMPET PLAYER

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Star Trumpet Auditions are Taking Place on Sundays THE AUDITION MUSIC AND RECORDING HAVE BEEN POSTED AT: http://bandresourcesunlimited.com/downloads/. WHEN WILL AUDITIONS TAKE PLACE? Sundays (3-5:30pm), until further notice. WHAT EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED? Some jazz experience is preferred, but not necessary. MONTHLY CLINICIANS: Professional jazz musicians do clinics from time to time. REHEARSALS: Weekly rehearsals take place at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial), from 2:45 until 5:30pm, each Sunday. PERFORMANCE GIGS? We feature our band during each monthly Denver Jazz Club session, professional jazz festivals, and performance gigs throughout the area. Past performances have included concert tours to New York City, and international jazz festivals at Montreux, Switzerland; Umbria, Italy; and Kongsberg, Norway. The Youth All-Stars plan to perform on a summer 2021 concert tour to New Orleans. SCHOOL CONFLICTS? No performances or rehearsals conflict with school activities. COST: Each selected student will be required to become a member of the Denver Jazz Club ($10 yearly fee). The monthly dues (4 weekly sessions) run $165, and are payable at the start of each 4 week period. The Denver Jazz Club is returning to the Westminster Elks Lodge

The Denver Jazz Club is returning to the Westminster Elks Lodge (3850 W. 69th Place) on Sunday, October 18th!

Be sure to join us for an entertaining afternoon with the Queen City Jazz Band, from 2 until 5 PM!!

Tri-County Health Department COVID-19 Safety Guidelines will be followed throughout the afternoon.

Leader Bill Clark plays tuba, with Kevin Bollinger, trumpet; John Bredenberg, reeds; Eric Staffeldt, trombone; Hank Troy, piano; Rory Thomas, banjo; Tony Pantelis, drums; and singer Wende Harston.

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform in between the sets of the Queen City Jazz Band.
