Sunday, July 20th Denver Jazz Club Session to Feature Chaz Bowles and the Summit Hot Seven (1:30-5pm)

On Sunday, July 20th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 1:30 until 5:00pm. The UCD Claim Jumpers will open the session, followed by the wonderful sounds of Chaz Bowles and the Summit Hot Seven. Band members include: Chaz Bowles (trumpet/leader), Bill Pontarelli (clarinet), Marti Henry (trombone), Scott Grove (piano), Rory Thomas (banjo/guitar), Roger Johns (bass), and Don Grove (drums). The DJC Youth All-Stars will also perform a preview of their upcoming NYC performance tour, from 3:50 until 4:15 pm. See you on July 20th!!

The July/August 2014 Denver Jazz Club Newsletter is now available for download. There is info on the July 20th performance of the Summit Hot Seven, and the August 17th Annual Potluck Picnic, featuring The Queen City Jazz Band.
