Queen City Jazz Band to be Featured at the Denver Jazz Club Annual Potluck Picnic on Sunday, August 17th (1:30-5pm)

On Sunday, August 17th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Annual Potluck Picnic at the Westerbergs’ Littleton home (310 Shadycroft Drive) from 1:30 until 5:00pm. It’s the entertaining sounds of the Queen City Jazz Band! Band members include: Kevin Bollinger (trumpet), John Bredenberg (clarinet/sax), Eric Staffeldt (trombone), Hank Troy (piano), Rory Thomas (banjo/guitar), leader Bill Clark (tuba), and Tony Pantelis (drums), with renowned vocalist Wende Harston. The DJC Youth All-Stars will perform from 1:30 until 2pm, and 3:50 until 4:10 pm. Please bring a dish to share – salad, appetizer, dessert or snack. See you on Sunday!!

Sunday, July 20th Denver Jazz Club Session to Feature Chaz Bowles and the Summit Hot Seven (1:30-5pm)

On Sunday, July 20th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 1:30 until 5:00pm. The UCD Claim Jumpers will open the session, followed by the wonderful sounds of Chaz Bowles and the Summit Hot Seven. Band members include: Chaz Bowles (trumpet/leader), Bill Pontarelli (clarinet), Marti Henry (trombone), Scott Grove (piano), Rory Thomas (banjo/guitar), Roger Johns (bass), and Don Grove (drums). The DJC Youth All-Stars will also perform a preview of their upcoming NYC performance tour, from 3:50 until 4:15 pm. See you on July 20th!!
