Chaz Bowles, trumpet, leads this longstanding band that initially was the Jazz Ensemble assembled by the late trombonist Alan Frederickson. November-December 2021 Denver Jazz Club Newsletter is now Available!

The Denver Jazz Club’s 65th Anniversary Party Celebration will take place at the Westminster Elks Lodge on Sunday, November 21st. Queen City Jazz Band will be the performing band that day. A review of the Denver Jazz Club’s required Covid-19 vaccination policy is also featured in this newsletter. The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra will be featured at the Denver Jazz Club’s Holiday Potluck Session on Sunday, December 19th. The new photo of the fully vaccinated 2021-22 Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars is also included. A “Hot Jazz, Pop Jazz, Hokum, Hilarity and History” article by Ed Danielson is rounding out the newsletter.
