The Neil Bridge 7+ will Perform at the June 17th DJC Session (Westminster Elks Lodge, 2-5pm)

On Sunday, June 17th, you’re in for a real treat – The Neil Bridge 7+. They will perform from 2 until 5pm at the Westminster Elks Club. Neil Bridge 7+ plays a variety of big-band swing, jazz standards, salsa, ballroom, ballads and fun funky blues for dancing and listening! Pianist Neil Bridge was honored by the Denver School of the Arts with the dedication of the Neil Bridge Jazz Room in May, 2008. He was a pianist with the Denver Symphony and has appeared with Henry Mancini, Steve Allen, Nelson Riddle, Mel Tome, Anita O‘Day, Nancy Wilson, Dakota Staton, Johnny Smith, The Mills Brothers, Clark Terry and many more. The deep connection he has with the music personally gets passed along to his musicians, and then to the audiences. The Neil Bridge 7+ consists of piano, bass, drums, congas, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, along with vocalists Chazz Bowles and Karen Lee.

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform at 4:00pm, just back from their exciting performance tour to New Orleans and their 3rd appearance at the Sacramento Music Festival!!

DJC Youth All-Stars to Perform at Avo’s in Ft. Collins with the Poudre River Irregulars on June 1st

Jazz Cookers to Perform on Sunday, May 20th

On Sunday, May 20th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! It’s the exciting sounds of the Jazz Cookers. Band members include: Rick Crandell, Cornet; Colton Crandell, Trumpet; Wes Leffingwell, Piano; Dave Ellis, Trombone; Jeff Henton, Tuba; Kevin Matthews, Drums; Madison Munn, Clarinet; and Lance Christensen, Banjo.

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will also perform from 4:00 until 4:20 pm. See you on May 20th!!
