On Sunday, July 19th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 1:30 until 5:00pm. It’s the wonderful sounds of Your Father’s Mustache Band! Current band members include: Joe Petrucelli, banjo; Charlie Smith, trumpet; Andrew Vogt, clarinet; Jason Petrucelli, trombone; Ray Leake, Piano; Roger Johns, bass; Jim Moore, drums; and Mike Johnson, washboard. Mary Kelly may be singing!

The theme for this session is the roaring 20’s! Everyone is encouraged to wear clothing from that period. There may also be several antique cars in the parking lot. The UCD Claim Jumpers will perform from 1:30 until 2:00 pm, and the DJC Youth All-Stars from 3:50 until 4:20pm. This will be the final performance of our 2014-15 youth band! See you on July 19th!!

Fresh from the celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band, it’s the Poudre River Irregulars! You’ll hear leader and trombonist Len Kellogg, bassist Dave Dale, drummer Oscar DeZoto, pianist Ray Leake, trumpeter Charlie Smith, banjo player Rory Thomas, and clarinetist Clark Burnside.

Be sure to arrive by 1:30pm to hear the UC Denver Claim Jumpers!

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform during the second break (approximately 3:50pm). This will be their final club appearance before they take off on their performance tour of Switzerland, France and Italy!
