On Sunday, April 19th, the Denver Jazz Club will Feature 4 Terrific Bands!

On Sunday, April 19th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 1:30 until 5:00pm! It’s the annual Ron Cope Scholarship Benefit featuring the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, the Queen City Jazz Band, the UC Denver Claim Jumpers, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars. They are all wonderful, so don’t miss it! Each of the pro and college bands will perform a set, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform an abbreviated set around 3:50pm. See you on April 19th!

March 15th Denver Jazz Session to Feature Neil Bridge 7+ and Kathy Lee (1:30-5pm) at Westminster Elks Club

On Sunday, March 15th, you’re in for a real treat – The Neil Bridge 7+ and Kathy Lee. They will perform from 2 until 5pm at the Westminster Elks Club. Neil Bridge is a classic American jazz musician, who has accompanied Mel Torme, Anita O’Day, Nancy Wilson, Dakota Staton, Johnny Smith, the Mills Brothers, Clark Terry, Sonny Stitt and many more.  He was a pianist with the Denver Symphony, and performed with Henry Mancini, Richard Hayman, Steve Allen, Rich Little and Nelson Riddle. This nine piece band consists of piano, bass, drums, congas, trumpet, trombone, sax, and male and female vocalists. All the musical arrangements for The Neil Bridge 7+ are written by Neil himself.

The UCD Claim Jumpers will perform from 1:30 until 2pm, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform at approximately 3:50pm.
