Denver Jazz Club Annual Potluck Picnic to Feature the Gypsy Swing Revue

On Sunday, August 21st, from 1:30 to 5pm, it’s the annual Denver Jazz Club Potluck Picnic, at the home of Decker and Ann Westerberg (310 Shadycroft Dr) in Littleton. The Denver Jazz Club furnishes brats, burgers, hot dogs and drinks. Admission is $8.

Please bring a dish to share – salad, appetizer, dessert or snack, and enjoy an afternoon of great music and socializing!

Gypsy Swing Revue (Elliot Reed, Stephen Hill, Anthony Salvo and Jean-Luc Davis) is based in Denver, performing music in the “Hot Club” style popularized by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in Paris during the 30’s and 40’s. The focus is on tight arrangements with plenty of room for jazz improvisation. With a mix of instrumental pieces and vocals, this energetic music is fun for everyone!

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform from 1:30-2pm, and in between the 3 sets of the Gypsy Swing Revue.
