The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars are Looking for Dedicated, Hard Working HS Clarinet, Trumpet/Cornet, Guitar/Banjo and Piano Players
THERE WILL BE DJC YOUTH ALL-STAR OPENINGS ON CLARINET, TRUMPET/CORNET, GUITAR/BANJO, PIANO AND DRUMS STARTING IN AUGUST.
WE WILL BE HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR THESE POSITIONS DURING APRIL.

The March/April Denver Jazz Club Newsletter is now available for download. There is info on the March performance of the Swing Brothers (Rich Chiaraluce/Jack LaForte), as well as the Denver Jazz Club’s April “Annual Ron Cope Scholarship Fundraiser,” featuring the Hot Tomatoes, Queen City Jazz Band, the CU-Denver Claim Jumpers, and the DJC Youth All-Stars.
There is also information on our Youth All-Stars’ upcoming performance tours to Sacramento and New Orleans, along with their 2012-13 vacancy audition announcements. Focus on Youth Day – Sunday, February 19th (2-5pm) at the Westminster Elks Lodge – “Fast Eddie” Erickson with the DJC Youth All-Stars, UC Denver Claim Jumpers and Selected Queen City Jazz Band Musicians

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars, UC Denver Claim Jumpers, and world renown banjo player, “Fast Eddie” Erickson will all be featured during our Focus on Youth Session. Queen City Jazz Band members will also accompany Eddie on a set to close out the day. Don’t miss this spectacular banjo player, who is one of the funniest performers on today’s traditional jazz scene!
