DJC YOUTH ALL-STARS TO PERFORM AT THE FEBRUARY 1ST MILE HIGH JAZZ FESTIVAL
The next performance of our Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will be at Ralston Valley HS (13355 W 80th Ave, Arvada). They will be performing 3 selections in front of a panel of judges, and an audience, beginning at 7:20 pm, on Wednesday, February 1st. Free admission, and all ages are invited to attend.
Crystal Swing Band to Perform on Sunday, January 15th
Be sure to attend the Sunday, January 15th Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! The Crystal Swing Band will be the performance group. Current band members include Kristin Anderson-Bohan, drums, leader; Jenny Karel, bass; Del Mollenhauer, piano; Chaz Bowles, trumpet; Rex Spease, alto sax; and Roger Topliff, tenor sax. They are fantastic, so don’t miss it! There will also be a performance by our very own Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars at approximately 4:00pm.

The January/February Denver Jazz Club Newsletter is now available for download. There is info on the January performance of the Crystal Swing Band, as well as the Denver Jazz Club’s February “Spotlight on Youth Day,” featuring “Fast Eddie” Erickson with the DJC Youth All-Stars, UCD Claim Jumpers, and selected professional musicians.
