DJC Youth All-Stars are Looking for a Dedicated, Hard Working HS Jazz Pianist

                                                   YOUTH ALL-STARS

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars are looking for a hard working, dedicated high school jazz pianist who would like to audition for the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars! We are looking for a dedicated Denver metro area high school musician who plays piano.

The Denver Jazz Club can help out financially, if the need is there – so don’t let the cost keep you from auditioning. My website, www.bandresourcesunlimited.com, has audition materials and more information. If you are interested, auditions will take place on Sundays, beginning October 23rd, from 6:15 until 8:45 pm, at Flesher-Hinton Music Store (3936 Tennyson St. in Denver).

The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars represented the state as the only Colorado youth band invited to perform at the 2010 and 2011 Sacramento Jazz Jubilees – the world’s biggest jazz festival!! The band recently returned from a Switzerland performance tour to the Montreux International Jazz Festival!!! The Denver Jazz Club is the main sponsor of this traditional jazz youth all-star band, which was created by retired public school music educator, Dr. Ed Cannava. Ed was the 22 year Director of Arapahoe High School’s three time Downbeat award winning Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs.
