After Midnight is Performing on Sunday, May 15th

On Sunday, May 15th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! It’s the wonderful, sweet sounds of Roger Campbell’s After Midnight Band. The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will also perform a few tunes at 4:00pm. This will be their final Club Performance before their appearance in the 2011 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee! See you on May 15th!!


 

Sunday, April 17th – Ron Cope Scholarship Benefit with Four Fantastic Bands

On Sunday, April 17th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! It’s the annual Ron Cope Scholarship Benefit featuring the Queen City Jazz Band, the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, the UC Denver Claim Jumpers, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars. They are all wonderful, so don’t miss it! Each of the pro and college bands will perform a set, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform a couple of tunes at 4:00pm. See you on April 17th!


 

DJC Youth All-Stars are Looking for Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, and Bass/Tuba Players

THERE WILL BE DJC YOUTH ALL-STAR OPENINGS ON CLARINET, TRUMPET, TROMBONE, & TUBA OR STRING BASS, STARTING IN AUGUST.

WE WILL BE HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR THESE POSITIONS DURING APRIL.

March-April Denver Jazz Club Newsletter

The March-April Denver Jazz Club Newsletter is now available for download. There is info on the March performance of Joni Janak and Centerpiece Jazz, as well as the Ron Cope Annual Scholarship Fundraiser (Performances by the Hot Tomatoes Jazz Orchestra, The Queen City Jazz Band, and the UC Denver Claim Jumpers). There is also information on our Youth All Stars as well as the UCD Claim Jumpers.
