Be sure to attend the Sunday, December 16th Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm! The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra will be the performance group. They are fantastic, so don’t miss it! There will also be a performance by our very own Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars at 3:45pm. This is the club’s annual holiday potluck, so everyone is invited to provide an entree, salad, appetizer or dessert to share. Admission is $10.00 per person for this special event.

Be sure and catch your DJC Youth All-Stars live on KUVO 89.3 FM radio on Tuesday, November 27th from 7 until 8 pm. This is KUVO’s monthly high school/collegiate “Live at the Jazz Oasis” show. You are also welcome to be in the studio audience (free admission). KUVO is located at 2900 Welton St, #200, Denver. You can also listen to the show on the internet at www.kuvo.org.

On Sunday, November 18th be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club Session at the Westminster Elks Lodge from 2:00 until 5:00pm. It’s the wonderful sounds of Your Father’s Mustache Band! You’ll hear Joe Petrucelli on banjo; Charlie Smith on trumpet; Gary Buss on reeds; Jason Petrucelli on trombone; Ray Leake on piano; Roger Johns on bass; Jim Moore on drums; Shelley McMillion on vocals; and Mike Johnson on washboard. The UC-Denver Claim Jumpers will perform during the second break (approximately 3:50pm).
DJC Youth All-Stars to Perform with the Summit Hot Seven this Sunday, 11/4, from 6 until 9pm at the Bull and Bush Pub
The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will be performing on Sunday, November 4th, at the Bull and Bush Pub (4700 Cherry Creek Drive South, Denver). They will be performing with the Summit Hot Seven from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. Don’t miss it!
