Welcome to Ralston Valley HS Sophomore Trumpet Player, Morgen Andersen, for being selected to the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars!
TRUMPET SIT-INS CONTINUING FOR THE VACANCY IN THE DENVER JAZZ CLUB YOUTH ALL-STARS
The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars are looking for a high school (preferably a non-senior) trumpet player who would consider joining our band! We would like to find a dedicated, hard-working Denver metro area high school musician who can sit-in, and play along, with our band on Sunday, February 2nd (1:15-3:45pm). Rehearsals take place at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial). Additional future Sunday opportunities may take place as well (Times to be determined).

Denver Jazz Club’s February 16th Mardi Gras Celebration with the Queen City Jazz Band
The Queen City Jazz Band will be celebrating Mardi Gras on Sunday, February 16th, from 1:00 until 5pm, at Westminster Elks Club (3850 Elk Drive). Leader Bill Clark plays tuba, with Kevin Bollinger, trumpet; John Bredenberg, clarinet; Eric Staffeldt, trombone; Hank Troy, piano; Rory Thomas, banjo; Tony Pantelis, drums; and vocalist Wende Harston. Everyone will be invited to enjoy some delicious Mardi Gras cake throughout the afternoon! Don’t miss this very special event!!
Performances will take place, from 1 until 2pm, with the UC Denver Claim Jumpers, and the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will perform between the 2nd and 3rd sets of the Queen City Jazz Band.
HS TRUMPET PLAYER NEEDED!
The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars are looking for a high school (preferably a non-senior) trumpet player who would consider joining our band! Rehearsals take place at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Centennial).
