On Sunday, August 21st be sure to attend the Denver Jazz Club’s Annual Potluck Picnic at the Westerber’s home (310 Shadycroft Drive, Littleton) from 2:00 until 5:00 pm. The Denver Jazz Club furnishes brats, burgers, hot dogs and drinks. Please bring a dish to share – salad, appetizer, dessert, or snack, and enjoy an afternoon of great music and socializing! It’s the exciting sounds of the Leaders Band, comprised of the leaders of several popular metro Denver jazz groups: John Bartman, trumpet; Roger Campbell, clarinet; Marti Henry, trombone; Hank Troy, piano; Joe Petrucelli, banjo; Bill Clark, tuba; and Kristin Anderson, drums. The $8.00 admission entitles you to a great cookout, soft drinks, and beer. The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars will also perform from 2:45 until 3:00 pm, and then again from 3:45 until 4:15 pm.
